Guaranteed weight loss formula containing hoodia called Infernolean, is being offered by manufacture, ABS Nutrition to prove its effectiveness.

Infernolean, which contains hoodia (hoodia gordonia), green tea, chromate, and other natural ingredients, is offered free as a day pack from vitamin manufacture, ABS Nutrition (http://www.absnutrition.net). The decision to offer the free day pack of the weight loss formula came after the company received many request to try the exclusive Infernolean product.

ABS Nutrition founder, Terry Brown, said,

"After receiving so many request for a trial of our Infernolean product, we thought it would only make sense to just give a day's supply free of charge and with free shipping. It's guaranteed to work so if the client tries a guaranteed product then they will certainly return for more."

ABS Nutrition also has the Carboshield product which can be used along with Infernolean. The guaranteed weight loss formula of Carboshield allows the dieting individual to continue to eat foods containing carbohydrates. With the guaranteed weight loss formula in the person's body, the carbohydrates will not be able to store fat cells thus offering a great advantage to their weight loss goals.

Along with the free Infernolean offer, ABS Nutrition has temporarily marked the prices of all guaranteed weight loss formulas twenty-four to thirty-five percent off. 14th August 2006 : Weight Loss Surgery, the Basics

People with clinically severe obesity are at great medical risk of disability or premature death.

High blood pressure caused by clinically severe obesity can contribute to heart attacks, congestive heart failure and stroke. Other health concerns such as sleep apnoea, asthma, low-back pain, urinary stress incontinence and severe acid reflux are also a result of increased weight. Significant weight loss can often ease these conditions or reverse them completely.

In today’s progressive medical science, surgery to promote weight loss by restricting food intake and interrupting digestive processes is an option for clinically severe obese patients, who have been unsuccessful with other weight loss treatments.

The ideal patient for weight loss surgery

These should be patients whose body mass index, or BMI, is 40 or greater (equivalent to about 100 pounds over ideal body weight for men or 80 pounds over ideal body weight for women).

Roux-en-Y gastric bypass is performed by creating a small stomach pouch using a surgical stapler (1). Next, the small bowel is divided about two feet from the stomach. One end of the small intestine is brought up and attached to the stomach pouch (the gastrojejunostomy) (2). The other end of the small intestine, still connected to the now non-functional stomach remnant, is reconnected to the intestinal tract (the jejunostomy) (3)

Weight loss surgery may also be an option for people with a BMI of 35 or greater who suffer from life-threatening obesity related health problems, such as diabetes, obesity-related heart disease or severe sleep apnoea.

When I read this Irish Health story about a new survey in the UK about what motivates people to lose weight had me scratching my head wondering what the big deal is over why people decide the time is right for weight loss.

The survey of over 4,000 people conducted by the non-profit organization Cancer Research UK found that four out of the ten people they questioned went on a weight loss plan to improve how they look compared with about a third of the respondents who are shedding pounds to prevent the onset of diseases like cancer.

Not surprisingly, two-thirds of the survey participants wanted to lose weight to improve their heart health and they consider that a huge benefit to ridding themselves of the spare tire. Additionally, almost half of the younger respondents in the 25-34 age range were likely to lose weight for their looks compared with one-third of them who do it to lower their cancer risk.

When I started livin' la vida low-carb in January 2004 at the age of 32 and 410 pounds, all I knew is that I needed to lose weight. Sure I wanted to look good, sure I wanted to feel better, sure I wanted to ward off things like heart disease and cancer, sure I had a lot of reasons for wanting to lose weight. But did it really matter WHY?

Want to join a weight loss group to help shift those stubborn pounds?

There are several things you need to consider before signing up. Do not be afraid to ask a weight loss group questions about the Program/s they offer. If you don’t ask about the group or the Program you may find yourself disappointed in the results [or lack of].

Once you have finished researching the weight loss group you will be able to make an informed decision on whether the group is right for you. Do not feel pressured to make this decision straight away, if need be look into other weight loss groups to ensure that you chose one that will cater to your needs.

1. What are the staff qualifications?

With companies such as Weight Watchers, leaders are lifetime members [meaning that they have reached goal weight and maintained]. They also receive training to keep up-to-date with the latest information. Larger companies usually follow a program designed by health professionals, who have researched the most effective weight-loss strategies. Some staff may have other training, certificates or experience that can help you in your weight loss efforts

2. What is involved with the Program?

You want to lose the weight healthily, meaning no fad dieting. Healthy eating plans need to reduce calories but not rule out specific food groups or require you to eat one particular food [think cabbage soup diet]. They should also encourage eating plenty of healthy food such as fruits and vegetables and recommend that takeaway and fatty foods be limited – not cut out completely. Some weight loss groups, like Jenny Craig, have there own meals pre-packed for your convenience. Others, like Weight Watchers, offer food products but they are not essential to follow the program.

In addition to a healthy eating plan, the Program should include an exercise plan to help your weight loss efforts. The World Health Organization recommends 30 minutes exercise a minimum of three days a week. Does the program should offer a plan for exercise beginners, if you have never exercised before you will need to start slowly. The Program should provide recommendations for all levels of fitness.

Book summary: The hardest part of dieting isn't the dieting; it's the despair. The first time you sign up for Weight Watchers, the program seems brand new, fun, a game. The tenth time, it seems ... dispiriting.

But if inspiration is the problem, then Janice Taylor is the answer. The author is a weight-loss coach and "weight-loss artist," meaning that she makes art about food instead of eating it.

Yes, it seems extreme. But at this point, you'll try anything.

Five years ago, Taylor lost 50 pounds by making a piece of art each time she wanted to eat a piece of pastry. This woman understands the struggle - my favorite part is when she writes about Supergluing the lid on a 16-oz. jar of super chunk peanut butter that somehow survived her pantry purging.

Been there (and ate the peanut butter).

Taylor tells her story leisurely, doling out healthy advice along with self-deprecating anecdotes. Taylor is excellent company on the long road to Svelteville.
